Don’t let regulations spook you

Early childhood education is full of regulations–licensing, quality rating improvement systems, compliance for funding sources, accreditation, etc. 虽然法规令人生畏，但并不可怕.

Often these thoughts manifest as “Yeah, nature sounds great, but…” The “but” may be followed by things like, “我们的许可规则不允许”或“我们州的QRIS不允许自然。.” In my experience, 当我们深入研究这些情况时，大多数时候我们会发现这些说法实际上并不是真的.

Remember shared goals–Whether for licensing, measures of quality, or funding compliance, regulators have the same goals as educators–to provide safe, enriching learning environments for young children. 如果我们带着这一共同目标进入监管机构，那么与他们的对话将会顺利得多.
